The first division of the Maiden Welter at the Canterbury Park races resulted:— VOYAGER, 8.11 (Bartie) 1 IRISH BLEND, 8.7 (Lamb) 2 RICHMOND’S BEST, 9.5 (Pike) 3 Fourteen started. Won by three-quar-ters of a length, with two and a half lengths between second and third. Time, Im 16s.
