LABOUR UNION’S SECRETARY.
jSy Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. Concussion and severe head injuries were suffered by a visitor from Wellington, Mr. Edward Kennedy, when he slipped and fell down a flight of stairs this afternoon. Mr. Kennedy, who is secretary to the Cooks and Stewards Union of New Zealand, was unconscious when he was taken to the hospital. His condition was described as fairly serious toniMr.* Kennedy is married and lives at Island Bay. He came to Auckland to attend the annual conference of the New Zealand Labour Party and he was present at the discussions to-day.
