NAZI AIRMEN

DISPLAY ABANDONED.

TWO SPECTATORS KILLED.

Berlin, April 12.

The Nazi flying display at Staaken, which was abandoned ■ owing to a crash, when two spectators were killed, showed remarkable progress in two years. The altar at the opening of the Church service was draped with swastika flags, and aeroplane propellers formed a crucifix.

Captain Loerzen christened four gliders grouped near the altar, and urged the youths to preserve the traditions of the wartime Air Service.
