The Hauturu is due at New Plymouth from Onehunga to-morrow. (Northern Co.). MOVEMENTS OF OVERSEAS SHIPS. PORT FREMANTLE ARRIVES. The Port Freipantle arrived at New Plymouth from Lyttelton on Sunday afternoon to discharge nearly 2000

tons of slag and other manures and general cargo. The vessel will sail on Wednesday night for Nelson, where loading will begin, and the vessel will call at New Plymouth again on April. 24 to load'Booo freight carcases of meat, 13,000 boxes of butter and 6300 crates of cheese. Loading will be completed at Wanganui, Wellington and Port Chalmers and the vessel will sail for England from Port Chalmers on May 6 via Cape Hom and Dakar. PORT FAIRY LEAVES LONDON. The C. and D. Line advises that its motor-ship Port Fairy left London last Thursday for Auckland, Napier Wellington and New Plymouth, via the Panama Canal. She is due at Auckland on May 11 and at New Plymouth on May 16. KALINGO FROM SYDNEY. The intercolonial steamer Kalingo arrived at New Plymouth direct from Sydney yesterday morning. She has 342 tons of coal and 273 tons of timber and general cargo for discharge and will sail for (Wellington, completing at Wellington, Gisbome, Picton, Westport and Greymouth. Captain J. Bennett is in command and his officers are: Chief, Mr. S. J. Turner; second, Mr. D. Munro; third, Mr. C. Strong; chief ’ engineer, Mr. M. Scott; second, Mr. J. Wilson; third, Mr. J. Booker; wireless operator, Mr. R. Mackenzie; chief steward, Mr. S. V. Hart. The vessel is topsail tomorrow for Wellington, completing at Wellington, Gisbome, Picton, Westport and Greymouth. MAHIA PASSES CANAL ZONE. The Mahia, which is due at New Plymouth from London direct in ballast on April 21, passed Colon at the end of last week.
