OHANGAI FOOTBALL CLUB
MEMBERS’ ANNUAL MEETING. • SUCCESSFUL SEASON REVIEWED. The annual meeting of the Ohangai Football Club was held on Tuesday night, Mr. J. Kerrisk,' jun., presiding over an attendance of 22 members. Prior to the routine business motions of sympathy with the relatives of the late Mr. Lester Radford, an enthusiastic playing member of the club, and Mr. H. Thrush in his recent bereavement, were, passed. ■ In presenting the annual report the president congratulated the club on winning the three trophies—the Wilson banner, Taranaki Daily News shield and the Elgar this season, stating that they were unlucky in not winning the South Taranaki championship. The team, however, should feel proud that they had done so well, and they were a credit to their coach, Mr. Trott. The balance-sheet showed a sound position, playing members’ subscriptions being well paid, showing that members were taking a.keep interest in the, club. The president also . took'the opportunity of thanking the secretary . (Mr. R. Church) for his assistance. ■

Lee, S. Tidswell, W. Hamilton (re-elected) and C. B. Denby;' secretary, Mr. R. Church; coach and selector, Mr; S. Hunt; auditor, Mr. -S. J. Tidswell; social committee, Messrs. Jas. Hinga, S. Kerrisk, H. Elmes, J. O’Shea (re-elected), L. Andrews and G. Kerrisk; gate-keepers, Messrs. S. Kerrisk and J. Trilford;. line umpire, Mr. Hinga; delegate to Wednesday Rugby committee, Mr. R. Church. Messrs. O. Bloor, J. Kirk, J. McLaughlin, R. Minhinnick, T. Rangihonga, H. Elmes and M. Walker were elected members.
