Tom Heeney (New Zealand) failed to last ten rounds on Monday night against Stanley Poreda, Jersey City. In a tenround bout he struggled through nine rounds and one minute 24 seconds of the tenth before the referee led him to his corner. Heeney ploughed into Poreda in the first two rounds, but it was Poreda’s fight after that.
