ALLEGED IMMIGRATION BREACH. COMMENT BY AMERICAN COURT. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright Rec. 10 p.m. Los Angeles, March 27. John Farrow, screen writer and' actor of Australia, charged with violating the Federal immigration laws, was on Monday granted five years’ probation by Judge Hollizer, who said that at the end of that time Farrow might enter a plea of not guilty with a clear record. The Court criticised the arresting immigration officer and recommended that Farrow be not deported. The Court also called attention to the protest on behalf of Farrow by the British Consul, Mr. Gurney, to the British Ambassador at Washington.
