TARANAKI MAN APPOINTED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Hon. R. Masters, Minister of Education, announces that the GovernorGeneral has appointed Mr. J. A. Valentine, New Plymouth, a member of the University Senate in the place of Mr. T. H. Macky, who has resigned.
