COASTAL MOVEMENTS. The Hauturu left Onehunga at 3 p.m.. yesterday with 100 tons and is due at New Plymouth this morning. She will sail later for Wanganui before returning. (Northern Co.). The Opihi will load at Dunedin tomorrow and is due at New Plymouth on April 5. (U.S.S. Co.). i The Totara was scheduled to leave Greymouth on Monday afternoon with 340 tons of coal for New Plymouth, and is due to-day. (U.S.S. Co.) The Holmglen is scheduled to load at Dunedin on Friday and is due at New Plymouth via Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington and Wanganui on April 6. (Hooker Bros.). The Kaimiro is d«e at New Plymouth from Westport via Wellington with 400 tons on April 5. (U.S.S. Co.). The Orepuki arrived at New Plymouth from Nelson yesterday morning with 50 tons of cement and some general cargo. She sailed later fpr Onehunga. (Cock and Co.) The Kini will sail from Westport via Wellington for New Plymouth with 500 tons of coal during the week and is due at New Plymouth on Friday. (U.S.S. Co.). The John was due to load at Dunedirt on Monday for New Plymouth and is due at New Plymouth via Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington and Wanganui on Saturday. (Hooker Bros.). MOVEMENTS OF OVERSEAS SHIPS. RADIO FROM MAHANA. A radio message from the Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Mahana, en route from London in ballast, stated that she expected to arrive at Bluff at 3 a.m. today. She will sail the following day for New Plymouth, Auckland and Wellington. She will sail from Wellington on April 20 for London, via Cape Horn. Captain J. M. Cameron is still in command of the vessel. . MATAKANA FOR BRITAIN. The Shaw, Savill and Albion liner Matakana, which is completing her loading programme at Bluff, is to sail today from Wellington for London, Cardiff, Liverpool and Glasgow, via Cape Horn. THE PORT WAIKATO. Advice has been received by the Northern Company that . the intercolonial motor-ship Port Waikato left Newcastle for Auckland last Friday. The vessel has cargo from New South Wales ports for discharge at Auckland and . southern ports. She is expected to arrive this morning. While at Auckland the vessel will load timber and other material to be used for building a new wharf at Waitangi, Chatham Islands, where she will proceed from a Southern port. MIDDLESEX DUE FRIDAY. The N.Z. Shipping Co.’s steamer Middlesex is now due at New Plymouth from Wanganui on Friday and will load 16,000 freight carcases of meat, 4994 crates of cheese and 2691 boxes of butter. She will complete at Auckland, clearing that port on April 7 for London. PORT CURTIS FROM AUCKLAND. The C. and D. Line steamer Port’ Curtis, which was scheduled to arrive at Auckland yesterday, is due at New Plymouth on Saturday to discharge 2484 tons of slag and other manures and load 9000 boxes of butter and 10,000 freight carcases of meat. She will complete at Wanganui, Napier and Wellington for London. THE PORT FREMANTLE. The C. and D. Line motor-ship Port Fremantle is due at Wellington from London on April 2 with cargo for discharge at Wellington, Lyttelton, New Plymouth and Nelson. After completion of discharge she will load at Nelson, New Plymouth, Wanganui, Wellington and Port Chalmers. She is to leave Port Chalmers for London, via Dakar, on May 6. THE PORT NICHOLSON. The C. and D. Line steamer Port Nicholson left London on March 7 with cargo for Australian ports. After discharge the vessel will come to New Zealand to load, her-loading ports being New Plymouth, Wanganui, Lyttelton, Wellington and Auckland. The vessel is scheduled to reach New Plymouth on May 3 and to sail from Auckland for London and west coast ports of Great Britain on May 23. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS.
