NEW ZEALAND APPOINTMENT. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night Following the decision by the Swiss Government to give full effect to the law that only Swiss citizens may occupy positions on its diplomatic and consular staff Mr. J. A. C. Allum, jsvho has been Swiss consul at Auckland for the past seven years, has resigned. Mr. Allum will be succeeded by Mr. Albert Blau, who is in charge of the Swiss consulate in Glasgow. M. Blau is expected to arrive in New Zealand about the middle of next month. It has not yet been decided whether he will establish his headquarters in the Dominion, but he will spend some time at Auckland, with Mr. Allum.
