INCREASE IN F. O. B. VALUES

EFFECT OF EXCHANGE ON PRICES. RISE IN BUTTER AND CHEESE. The values f.o.b. New Zealand ports of New. Zealand butter and cheese sold on the London market have been raised slightly consequent upon an alteration in the fixed earning basis for exchange as a result of the sharp rise in the exchange rate, which was not at first allowed for in the calculations. The altered values, with thoje ruling when the exchange rate was £8 'los per cent, premium for comparison, are:—
