Captain Lawson, a pilot in Sir Alan Cobham’s air circus, and E. Ross, a radio expert, fatally crashed over an airport when they started the "falling leaf” trick at 3000 feet and failed to come-out of the loop. The machine crumpled up and the bodies were terribly disfigured.
