The United Kingdom Chamber of Shipping passed a motion expressing itself in full accord with the policy of the GovexTiment in using the forthcoming World Economic Conference • to promote the re-establishment of world trade prosperity, and urging the need of a final settlement of war debts and the restoration of international credit, the removal of all restrictions on international trade, including prohibitions, quotas and exchange restriction, and all forms of flag discrimination, including subsidies in the world market, the removal or modification of protective tariffs, ■ and the taking of all such other steps as may help to restore the flow of international trade.
