According to the heavy traffic fees re- . . • ceived during the financial year to date. the total for the year is likely to be from’ ..''k £2500 to £3OOO below the total for the preceding year. The year ends in May, and overlaps the City Cduncil year by - « two months. The receipts to date- are £19,400 19s 9d, against £21,146 19s 3&the period up to the end of February, 1932, and £24,275 3s 2d for the whole year. From June to November, 1932, a period ;; 4>of six months, the receipts were £15,'662 5s Id, as compared with £16,447 0s 5d for V ? the corresponding six months of the preceding year. ' ', ; From December 1 up to yesterday the receipts were £3738 14s 3d, as compared with £4699 18s 10d,.both periods showing a decrease. From March Ito May : 30 last year the receipts were £3128 3s ’ lid.
