RESULTS AT CLUB NIGHT. The Hawera Swimming Club held a series of races last night, results being:— Junior boys, cup, 100 yards: I. Taylor (75.) 1, A. Buist (scr) 2, D. McGlashan (125.) 3. Taylor was disqualified for breaking his mark by 2s. and R. Head (55.) was placed third. Junior girls’ cup, 100 yards: B. Smith, (scr) 1, G. Smith (35.) 2 ; Intermediate boys’ cup, 75 yards: Chadwick (scr) 1, K. McGlashan (scr) 2, time, 47 3-ss. Moss-Maitland (ladies’) Cup, 100 yards: J. Beamish (Bs.) 1, M. Head (55.) 2, R. George (scr) 3. ■ Senior cup, 75 yards: George (65.) 1, A. Ryan (45.) 2, J. Blyth (scr) 3. Junior boys’ two widths breaststroke: Smart (25.) 1, H. Spragg (45.) 2, Head (scr) 3. Intermediate boys, four widths: N. Rigger (65.) 1, K. McGlashan (scr) 2, L. Spragg (35.) 3. ■Ladies’ 25 yards: N. Seaver (35.) 1, T. Cann (25.) 2, R. George (Is.) 3. Junior girls, two widths breaststroke: G. Bernard 1, M. Armstrong 2, J. Anderson 3. Men’s six widths: R. Clarke (Is.) 1, J. Blyth (scr) 2, L. George (55.) 3. Intermediate girls’ four widths: N. Seaver (55.) 1, P. Murray (scr) 2, T. Cann (35.) and M; Head (35.) equal 3. Junior dive: P. McGlashan 1, B. Smith 2, Jeanne Goodwin 3. Points in banner competition are:— Captain 164 J, vice-captain 1464.
