The finals of the Auckland Lawn Tennis Association’s championships lyere played to-day in fine weather. Results are:—
Men’s singles: Stedman beat Bartleet, 6 — 4, 6—3, 6—o. Ladies’ singles: Miss Marjorie Macfarlane beat Miss Knight, 6—o, B—6. Men’s doubles: Bartleet and Malfroy beat Stedman and Sturt, 4—6, B—6, 6—3, 2—6, 9—7. Ladies’ doubles: Miss Knight and Mrs. Melody beat Misses Marjorie and Marion Macfarlane, 6—3, 6 —B, B—6. Combined doubles: Malfroy and Miss Knight beat Wilson and Mrs. Napier, 7— 6-0.
