Rec. 11 p.m. Sydney, Jan. 30. Members of the Board of Control from all States except Western Australia assembled in camera at a special meeting to-day to consider the Marylebone Club’s reply to the Board’s cable protesting against bodyline bowling. The meeting lasted all day, after which the chairman, Mr. Robertson, announced that there would be no statement made to the Press. It is understood that a cable has been .sent to the M.C.C., but the contents cannot even be surmised. The' Victorian and Queensland delegates left for home to-night.
