Rec. 11.30 p.m. London, Jan. 27. Influenza is still spreading in Britain. Last week’s deaths numbered 1589. Many other European countries are experiencing the epidemic, but none so seriously as Britain, which had 1041 deaths in the week ending January 14 out of a world-wide total of 3000. It is now estimated that from 10 to 15 per cent, of the whole adult population is down with the attack.
