VICTORIA LEAGUE GARDEN PARTY.

The Victoria League annual garden party is to be held next Tuesday at “Maranui,” the residence of Mrs. T. C. List. By permission of Mr. Eliof King the grounds of “Brooklands” will also be thrown open; Numerous croquet competitions are being arranged and it is hoped a large number of league members and friends and visitors to the town will avail themselves of the opportunity of spending an enjoyable afternoon. A special bus will leave Hookham’s corner at 2.30 p.m.
