CAUCUS OF LABOUR PARTY
OPPOSED TO HIGH EXCHANGE. NO-CONFIDENCE TO BE MOVED. By Telegraph—Preas Assn. —Copyright. Wellington, January 26. The Labour Party held a caucus this morning. Interviewed afterwards, Mr. H. E. Holland, leader of the party, stated that there would be a vote of no-confi-dence from the Opposition and that the party intended to oppose the Government not only on the exchange question, but also on other economic questions. When a report that his election committee had requested him to oppose the Government on the exchange issue was referred to him, Mr. W. P. Endean (Parnell) said: “I will make no comment until the policy of the Government is disclosed. I will then make a full comment and define my position.”
