Sir,—Re letters published regarding Sir Charles Kingsford Smith’s doings, a little question for Mr. “Speed-the-Plough. — What if Smithy and Co. cleared back over the Tasman and told them in Melbourne that their reason for so doing was because Mouldboard Wing-Com-mander Speeding-Plough had owlishly advised that they should have taken a leaf out of Mr. Guy Menzies’ book, and selected some nice little mosquito-infest-ed swamp for their happy landing-place.
