ASSAULT ON GIRL ALLEGED
CHARGE IN GISBORNE COURT.
By Telegraph.—Press Association. Gisborne, Last Night. Charged with assaulting a girl of eighteen years with intent to commit rape, Frederick Higgs, aged 31 years, appeared before Justices of the Peace today in the Police Court. He pleaded not guilty and was committed to the Supreme Court for trial.
