ROUMANIAN CABINET CRISIS

Owing to King Carol’s refusal to dismiss the chief of police and other friends a political crisis is precipitated. The Foreign Minister, M. N. Titulescu, has hurriedly returned from Geneva to support the Cabinet. The trouble is largely due to long standing differences between King Carol and the President of the Council, M. J. Maniu.
