Otherwise conditions will be fine and warm. , ■. A cyclone to the north is now centred east of Cape Maria but is slowly filling up. The pressure is still rather low in the western Tasman Sea. South-east to north-east winds will prevail north of Westport and Akaroa, slight to moderate mainly but fresh to strong at times in exposed positions. Elsewhere winds will be variable. Seas will still be rather rough north of Kaikoura; elsewhere they will be smooth to moderate.
