A young woman drove a stolen car used by bandits who smashed the window of a London jeweller’s shop and got away with a tray of rings and watches valued at £lOO. The robbery was at the shop of Mr. Bartlett Heath, Wells Street, Hackney. People in the street , saw the car pull up outside the shop shortly after lunch. In it were the young woman, at the wheel, a man beside her, and another man in the rear seat. This man jumped out, walked to the window, smashed it by throwing at it a piece of concrete wrapped in a shawl, grabbed the tray and ran back to. the car, ..which the. woman drove off at a high speed.
