SOUTHERLY CHANGE SOON. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington Last Night. Further scattered rain is probable in eastern and far northern districts of the North Island. Elsewhere conditions will be fair to cloudy at first, but later rain will become more widespread. Warm temperattires may be expected. An anti-cyclone- located east of New Zealand has intensified, while a depression on. the Tasman Sea has been gradually filling up. Moderate to strong easterly to northerly winds are probable, but a southerly change is expected to set in during Friday night or Saturday. Seas will be rather rough on parts of the East Coast. Elsewhere seas will be smooth to moderate.
