REPRESENTATIVE CRICKET
MATCH AGAINST WANGANUI. TARANAKI TEAM SELECTED. The following team has been chosen by the provincial selectors, Messrs. A. Jennings and.D. F. C.,,Saxton, to represent Taranaki in a cricket match against Wanganui at Pukekura Park, New Plymouth, on Monday and Tuesday,/December. 26 and 27:— H. Barker (Hawera Old Boys), W. Hall, Walker (Stratford), O. M. Nasmith (New Plymouth), F. J. Eggleton, G. L, Ewart (New Plymouth Old Boys), Norman Giddy, Spence Giddy (Tarurutangi), J. Birch, E. Christensen, T. Larkin (New Plymouth High School). Twelfth man: W. Groombridge (New Plymouth). , A number of players, particularly from South Taranaki, were not available. _ At the conclusion of the match with Wanganui the North Taranaki team to play Victoria College at Pukekura Park on Friday and Saturday, December 30 and 31, will be selected. In addition to the players chosen for the Taranaki team the following players are requested to keep in practice with the Victoria College match in view: Lash, Papps, Stevens (Old Boys), Larkin, Hawkins (New Plymouth), Parkinson (Western Park). The following have been selected to represent Wanganui against Taranaki. J. Cheevers, A. G. Davidson, J. Ellis, H. Evens, M. Satayanand, R. L., Sewell, O. Smith, L. R. Spurdie, G. Thrust, H. Wild, L. A. Wood, F. Weir (12th man). NEW PLYMOUTH V. INGLEWOOD. The New Plymouth eleven to play Inglewood at Western Park to-day is: Quirke, Clarke, Larkin, Inch, Medley, McKay, Broughton, Ewart, Allen, Macallan. Ninkie, Wright (12th man).
