BRITISH LIGHT CAR SETS RECORD. (British Official Wireless.) Rec. 5.5 p.m. Rugby, 'Dee.; ,20. < A new motoring record for 24 hours in the 750 c.c. class was set by a British car. on the Montheiry track, Paris, to-day. Ekston, Denley and Wisdom, taking three-hour turns at the wheel' of a little seven h.p. car of standard pattern, covered 2727 kilometres, approximately 1704 miles. The previous record was 2534 kilometres, approximately 1554 .’ miles.
