HIDE AND SHEEPSKIN SALE. NEW PLYMOUTH SATISFACTORY. Satisfactory prices were obtained at the New Plymouth hide and sheepskin sale conducted by L. A. Nolan and Co. on Tuesday. An average catalogue comprised 587 hides, 30 yearlings, 297 calf, 2095 salted and 759 dry sheepskins, and tallow in tins and drums, plus usual sundries. There was a small but representative bench of buyers and the catalogue was cleared. Hides sold at from par to Jd down oh last month’s rates. Prices were satisfactory.
