HANDICAPS FOR BOXING NIGHT.

The first carnival of the season in Taranaki will be held at New Plymouth by the East End, Surf Club on Boxing < night. Entrigs closed last night and include names of swimmers from Opunake, Eltham, Okato, Fitzroy, New Plymouth and East End clubs. G. Harrison (Opunake), H. St. George (Fitzroy) and G. Beaven (New Plymouth) are three entrants who should make an interesting race of the 220yds handicap. The programme includes two polo championship matches.
