ALLEGED OFFENCE IN 1926
MAN CHARGED AT-WAIPUKURAU. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Waipukurau, Last Night. Desmond Kenny, aged about 23, formerly of the Weraroa Training Farm and arrested recently at Whakatane, was charged with attempted rape on a woman of 32 at South Makaretu in October, 1926. He reserved his defence and was committed for trial in the Supreme Court at Napier.
