TARANAKI JOCKEY CLUB
ARRANGEMENTS FOR MEETING. A meeting of the committee and stewards of the Taranaki Jockey Club was held on Tuesday evening, Mr. L. A. Nolan presiding over a full attendance. Committees were appointed in connection with the Christmas race meeting It was reported that arrangements were well in hand for the win and place system of computing dividend?, and that the second machine was being installed this week. Two members were elected.
Acceptances for the meeting close with the secretary, Mr. C. B. Webster, at 9 o’clock on Friday .night. In connection with the February meeting, a provisional programme was drafted and will be submitted to a further meeting.
