Rec. 8.45 p.m. Melbourne, Dec. 13. R. Dunlop and Miss J. Hartigan won the mixed doubles from W. Allison and Mrs. Van Ryn on default at the Victorian championships. Allison, the American captain, protested and wanted the match played to-day, but the referee disallowed his claim. ■Australia’s team for the second test match w.Il be J. Crawford (captain), H. Hopman, C. S. Sproule and V. McGrath, with A. Quish emergency.
