HAWERA ITEMS.
Miss Joselyn Evans, New Plymouth, spent a few days at Hawera last week.
Mrs. A. C. Robinson, Princes Street, has returned home after a holiday at Hamilton and Auckland. Mrs. Illston senr., Marton, and. Mrs. W. Illston, Hunterville, were the guests of Mrs. Evelyn Buckrell for the Whakamara jubilee. Miss Isabelle MacKenzie, Turuturu Road, Hawera, has received advice that she has passed terms in physics, organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, foods I. and housewifery at the Otago University examinations. She was formerly a pupil of the Hawera Technical High School.
