Colts: Trigger, T. Walsh, Nieper, Cox. DISTINCTIVE MARKING OF BOWLS. NEW ZEALAND COUNCIL RULING. Wellington, Last Night. The council of the New Zealand Bowling Association has given the following ruling regarding the marking of bowls: “Bowls which are in use and which bear a distinctive mark on the large disc will be sufficiently marked to comply with the regulations if the numbered disc is permanently marked with .the owner’s initials or with a design similar to that on the large disc. New bowls must bear a similar distinctive mark on both discs of each bowl.”
