ADVANCES TO FARMERS
FACTORIES IN WAIKATO. OCTOBER SUPPLY FIGURES. The butter-fat supply of the Bruntwood Co-operative Dairy Company, Ltd., for the season to date (June to October), is practically 10 per cent, in advance of the corresponding period of the previous season. During October 2,123,0061 b of milk were supplied, the advance payment on the 80,9251 b of butter-fat handled Being lid a lb. In the same month last season, when 73,0881 b of butter-fdt was supplied, the rate of advance was fixed at Is. The distribution will amount to £3709 Is 3d. compared with £3654 8s in October, 1931. The Te Aroha-Thames Valley Cooperative Dairy Company, Ltd., has fixed its October advance at IOJd a lb (from gate).
’ Sunny Park Co-operative Dairy Com- ' pany suppliers will participate in a disbursement of £3,968, at the rate of 9Jd t a lb, as against £4275 in October last year, when the rate of advance was lid a lb. The Norfolk Co-operative Dairy Com- ; pany’s (cheese) rate of advance has been fixed at lOd a lb, the distribution amounting to £2495. A bonus on last season's supply will bring the advance rate up to 12id a lb. In the corresponding month last season, when £2813 was paid to suppliers, the advance was computed at Is a lb. The Te Awamutu Co-operative Dairy Company will pay out 9Jd a lb butterfat on the October supply, with another credit of 4d a lb to shareholders. Hinuera Co-operative Dairy Company shareholders will receive 9<jd a lb but-ter-fat on the October supply, compared with lid a lb in the same month last year. The amount distributed will total £9461, as against £9024 in the corresponding month of the 1931 season. During October 24,9871 b of butter-fat was handled by the Tokaroa Co-opera-tive Dairy Company, the distribution, which will amount to £1342, being computed at the rate of Hid a lb. In the corresponding period of last season, when the disbursement ran Into £1197, the advance on the 28,0141 b of but- ■ ter-fat was the same as in October this i year. ■
