ROWING CHAMPIONSHIPS
SUGGESTIONS FOR THE DATE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Nov. 19. ' The council of the New Zealand Row.- ■ ing Association decided to ask the Wanganui Rowing Association to fix February 23 for the New Zealand championship regatta, which it considers a more suitable date than March 4 as it will permit the eight-oar inter-provincial championship to be held at Wellington on Marcli 25 and give a reasonable time for the South Island crews to prepare for the regatta at Queenstown at Easter.
