OHURA SCHOOL COMMITTEE
DONATION FOR CHRISTMAS TREE. The Ohura school committee held its monthly meeting in the school fooni on November 9. resent were Messrs. Friel, Potter, Brown and’Jenks. The headmaster,, Mr. W. L. Wagstaff, spoke upon the repair of fences and the necessity to erect a stile in the northwest comer of the playing area. • A letter from the Methodist minister regarding a Christmas tree for the children was discussed. The secretary was empowered to attend the general meeting to represent the committee, and to donate £1 10s. .
