Temperatures will be cooler. The recent anti-cyclone is passing eastwards and a westerly depression is advancing . towards the Dominion. There will be moderate to strong northerly to westerly winds rising to gale force in places in arid south of Cook Strait and j backing to south-westerly to-morrow in the south.
