GENERAL AND PERSONAL ITEMSThe final euchre and dance party of the" season was held last Friday, when there was a. good attendance. The prize winners were Miss K. Wadsworth, Miss T Morris, Mr. H. Busing and Mr. C. Radford. The Monte Carlo dance prizes
were won ,by Miss G. Pearce and Mr. R. Smith. Mr. H. Wallath was master of ceremonies. Mrs- H. Wood gave a party on Saturday' afternoon in honour of her daughter Jean’s birthday. A jolly time was spent with music and games- Afternoon tea was served in the dining-room.
The Bible class meeting was he|d on Monday night.. The Rev. Henderson presided. After the opening exercises the chairman gave an interesting address on “Armistice.” Mr. D. Jamison, who.recently cut his finger severely, is still at New Plymouth for medical attention.
