Sire, Fyvie Sensation, by Hiawatha Again; from Lady Ivo, by Dunure Footprint. Dam, Rolene, by Dunure Refiner, by Dunure Footprint. Epinard’s half-brother Benefactor, realised 4500 guineas, and won the Supreme Championship of Scotland for 1930. Dunure Footprint earned £20,000 a year in stud fees. Epinard’s progeny have won prizes at the Royal Show, Palmerston North, Hawke’s Bay, Hawera, Stratford and New Plymouth. During the last three seasons my Clydesdale Stud has won 18 first prizes, 4 championships, 4 reserve championships, two Clydesdale Medals, and the Taranaki Show Life Members’ 25-guinea Trophy for mare and two progeny for 1932. Epinard won the Taranaki Show Championship in 1931. He is guaranteed sound, and a quiet worker in all harness.

Raceful is a brother in blood to the Melbourne and N.Z. Cup winner, Sasanof, while his dain, Rose Red, was an own sister to the dual Auckland Cup winner, All Red.
Raceful is a handsome bay horse standing over 16 hands. Sound and even tempered, he proved a high-class racehorse, beating Humbug as a two-year-old and winning in all nine races and stakes to the value of almost £4OOO.
Very few of his progeny have raced, but Tradesman, Fraser and Woodful have been successful, and some of his rising stock are very promising. Rajeful won a Christmas Handicap at Ellerslie in Im. 38 3-55., was also second to Sasanof in Ormond Gold Cup and beat Maioha.
