WORK FOR WHITELEY CHURCH

OFFICIALS FAREWELL MR. BONE. The official’s of Whiteley Memorial Church, New Plymouth, entertained Mr. A. H. Bone, who leaves on Monday for England, at afternoon tea on Thursday. The Rev. Clarence Eaton presided.

Expressions of goodwill and hopes for a happy stay in England were conveyed to Mr. 'Bone by Mr. Eaton. They desired that Mr. Bone should know how they appreciated the services he had rendered to Whiteley Church. 'Words of appreciation were added by Mr. H. ,V. S. Griffiths and Mr. L. M. Moss. In reply Mr. Bone returned thanks for the honour the church officials had done him. He explained that the trip w'as primarily for health reasons.
