To date there had been issued 588 packets of seeds, 7050 cabbage, cauliflower and lettuce plants, 5J cwt. of seed potatoes and 1| cwt. of manure. Mr. Johnson said he visited the depot on Saturday afternoon and was agreeably surprised at the hive of industry. There could not have been fewer than 15 there at any on© time. They were a happy and enthusiastic crowd. He said the organisation was very good. Mr. W. L. Kennedy said the report was very satisfactory and it was pleasing to the members to know that the unemployed were appreciating the work. The Rev. J. MacGregor thought the library was a very good oue. Mr. M. Priest reported that the gardens were well on their way and that there was much more in hand than there was at this time last year. The year had been a good one and the gardens were in good order. Dr. Doris Gordon suggested that later one of the Ministers should be asked to visit the seed beds. Th© balance-sheet showed a credit of £l3 13s. 4d. Mr. Priest said about 5 cwt. of manure was needed, and a resolution authorising th© purchase of this amount was passed.

Dr. Gurdon moved that surplus plants be given to any relief camps which required them., The motion was carried.
