FRANKLEIGH PARK BLOOMS
ANNUAL SPRING SHOW. NINE QUALITY OF EXHIBITS. There was again a beautiful display of flowers at the annual Frankleigh Park spring show on Saturday. The keenness of the residents and the quality of their gardens were reflected in the flowers exhibited and the tastefully'arranged hall was much admired. Among the.special exhibits in the centre of the hall was a collection of 100 of Mrs. L. A. Brown’s ranunculi, which have been an outstanding feature at several recent shows. Two fine pale pink peonies were exhibited by Mi’s. W. C. Weston. Mr. J. W. Spindler had a vase of splendid tulips. Dainty _ schizanthus were shown by Mr. G. W. Kirk. A wonderfully good head of stock was shown by Mrs. T. f*aton. There was a trade display by Mr. E. T. Marsh. Prizes were presented in the evening by Mr. N. Allen, president of the society. The judges were Mr. F. J. Morshead (cut blooms), W. C. Weston, D. K. Morrison (decorative) and A. P. Lister (cooking). Mesdames N» Allen, T. Paton and A. Boswell, Messrs. J. Frethey and J.
