WEST COAST COAL DISPUTE
COUNCIL’S VISITS TO MINES. By Telegraph—Prfew Association. Westport, Last Night. The West Coast District Miners’ Council sat all day yesterday and again in the evening considering the disputes at Denniston and Stockton mines, and to-day it visited Denniston. Seen on his return to Westport Mr. Purdie, secretary of the district council, said there was nothing at present to report beyond that the council will visit the Stockton mines to-mrirrow.
