GRAVEST ANXIETY AROUSED. JAPANESE ACTION THREATENED. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Shanghai, Aug. 10. Intensification of the anti-Japanese boycott and the possibility of the Japanese again descending on Shanghai are creating grave anxiety. Anti-Japanese posters are again appearing in the streets, while the Chinese Chamber of Commerce has warned officially the Grocers’ Guild against the importation and sale of Japanese produce. The Seamen’s Guild is warning shipowners using Japanese' coal. Dispatches from Japan state that the Japanese will not hesitate to revisit Shanghai should protection of their interests necessitate such a course.
