MOVEMENTS OF OVERSEAS SHIPS. RUAHINE TO DEPART TO-MORROW. The Ruahine, at present loading cargo at New Plymouth for London, is expected to finish taking 6000 boxes of butter, 3000 crates of cheese and 10,000 freight carcases of meat this afternoon and sail for Wellington. She will complete at Wellington, Napier and Auckland, which she is to leave on August 20 for London, via the Panama Canal. Captain G. Kinnell is in command. OTIRA ON WAY TO NEW ZEALAND. The Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Otira, which is en route from London to Now Zealand, is due at Suva on Saturday and at Lyttelton on August 22. The vessel has cargo for discharge at Lyttelton, Port Chalmers, Bluff and Napier. For her homeward voyage she will load at Napier, New Plymouth, Lyttelton, Wellington and Auckland. She is scheduled to load at New Plymouth about September 5 and to sail from Auckland for London, via Cape Horn, on September 17. SOMERSET LOADS IN THE SOUTH. The Federal Line steamer Somerset, which loaded at New Plymouth recently, arrived at Timaru from Wellington on Wednesday to continue loading. The vessel will afterwards proceed to Bluff to complete her cargo, and she is scheduled to clear Bluff for London, via Montevideo arid Dakar, on August 30. TARANAKI CONTINUES LOADING. The Shaw, Savill and Albion motorship Taranaki is due-at Wellington from Wanganui to-day to continue loading, part of which was done at New Plymouth, and she is to leave Wellington on Tuesday for Gisborne and Auckland to complete her cargo. The vessel is scheduled to reach Auckland on August 22 and to sail for London and West Coast ports of Great Britain, via Las Palmas, on August 26. RARANGA TO SAIL FROM LONDON. The Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Raranga was scheduled to clear London on Wednesday for Auckland and Wellington. She is due at Auckland on September 19. WELLINGTON-PICTON SERVICE. The Union Company advises that in order to complete the survey of the Tamahine the vessel will leave Picton at 9.30 p.m. on August 26 and she will be withdrawn on arrival at Wellington the following morning. She will resume in the service on August 31. An opportunity for cargo will be provided from Wellington to Picton on Monday, August 29, and from Picton to Wellington on Tuesday, August 30.
