POST OFFICE EXAMINER’S GUILT.

Wellington, Last Night. Over a period of years Edgar Thoma* Humphreys, examiner in the Post Office Savings Bank, converted £l7l to his own use. He appeared before Mr. E. Page, S.M., to-day and pleaded guilty to forging and uttering a withdrawal slip for £lOO and to nine charges of theft a® a servant of the Government of money totalling £7l. Humphreys was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence.
