FORTY-FOUR EXECUTES
PERUVIAN COURT-MARTIAL HUNDRED CONDEMNED TO DIE SEQUEL TO RECENT REVOLT By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Lima (Peru), Aug. 1. The Government announced to-day that 44 men were executed on Wednesday at Trujilo for participating in ths revolt there early last month. The men were convicted r a courtmartial, taken out and lined up on ths " trenches they themselves had dug around the city and were shot. One hundred and one were condemned to death, but 57 have not yet been taken into custody.
