LORD BLEDISLOE’S ECONOMY
MILITARY POST ABOLISHED. MAJOR RUSSELL RETURNS HOME. By Telegraph.-—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Governor-General, Lord Bledisloe, has decided in the interests of economy to abolish the post of military secretary on His Excellency’s staff during the prevailing period of financial stringency. Major R. W. Russell will therefore return shortly to England.
